From modest beginnings in 2008, the Canadian Collegiate National Championships now draw eight of the premier softball teams from across Canada to compete every Thanksgiving weekend for the title of National Champion. Now under the guidance of the Canadian Collegiate Softball Association steering commitee, the hosting of the event alternates between east and west, with the OCAA, OIWFA and the WCSA taking turns hosting the event.
